GREGORY J. WILSON was born in Joliet, Illinois on July 28, 1950. He attended the University of Iowa, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1972, and Marycrest College, where he received his Master of Arts in 1973. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 1977. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1977 and the U.S. Tax Court in 1981. Greg is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations (a member of Real Property Probate and Trust and International Law and Practice sections). Greg's practice has involved the acquisition, financing and sale of more than $120,000,000 in commercial real estate projects, advising family businesses and the planning and probating of individual estates. He has also been involved in international trade transactions. Greg has been active in numerous civic organizations including the Greater Des Moines Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Des Moines and Odyssey of the Mind of Iowa, as a State Director.
