MARTIN C. SPROCK was born in Carroll, Iowa, on January 1, 1952. He attended Drake University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1974 and his Juris Doctorate in 1977. Marty was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa and Beta Alpha Psi. He was involved in the ABA Client Counseling Competition. Before joining the Patterson Firm, Marty was a CPA tax professional at a "Big 8" accounting firm and a trust officer in a regional banking system. He joined the Patterson Firm in 1985. Marty is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State (including the Probate and Tax Sections) and American Bar Associations, as well as the American Institute and Iowa Society of Certified Public Accountants. Marty has a general practice including but not limited to wills, estates and probate law. Marty has served on the boards of various United Way agencies and his church. Marty has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
