GARY D. ORDWAY was born in Mason City, Iowa on February 10, 1942. He attended Drake University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in 1964 and his Juris Doctorate in 1966. He has practiced with the Firm since his graduation. Gary is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State (including the Litigation and Environmental Law Sections) and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of Iowa, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the American Academy of ADR Attorneys. He has prepared and argued many cases before the Iowa Supreme Court, and also involved in general practice including but not limited to many trials in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, agricultural/grain elevator cases and construction/building defect cases. Gary is a Presbyterian Church Elder, Secretary of Westminster Presbyterian Church Foundation, Board Member at Calvin Community Retirement Center and president of the Drake University Sigma Phi Epsilon Alumni Association. He is an instrument-rated pilot and aircraft owner. Gary has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
