MATTHEW C. MOORE was born in Decatur, Illinois, on December 13, 1975. He attended Millikin University, where he received his Bachelor of Science in biochemistry, in 2002. He then attended Drake University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 2007. While at Drake Law, he was a member of the Moot Court Board, Delta Theta Phi fraternity, and the Drake Law Ambassadors. Matt joined the Patterson Firm in 2007. He is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations.

Matt enjoys volunteering for civic activities and charitable organizations. He is a youth mentor for the Mentor Iowa program and also a member of 1000 Friends of Iowa.
