MARK A. KING was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, on October 30, 1973. He attended Creighton University receiving his Bachelor of Science in 1997, and Drake University Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctorate, with honors, in 2001. Mark served as a law clerk for the Fifth Judicial District in Polk County upon graduation from law school. He went on to serve as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Van Zimmer of the Iowa Court of Appeals prior to joining the Patterson Law Firm in 2003. He is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations.
