KRISTA M. HYLAND was born in Humboldt, Iowa, on January 19, 1979. She attended Miami University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management in 2002. After her undergraduate studies and before attending law school, Krista worked as a Process Engineer for Ahlstrom Engine Filtration. Krista received her Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 2007. While at Drake University Law School, Krista was a member of the Drake Law Review, the Giles Sutherland Rich Intellectual Property Moot Court Team, and the Blackstone Inn of Court. She also served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Scott D. Rosenberg of the Fifth Judicial District of Iowa. Krista joined the Patterson Firm in 2007. Krista is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations.
