ROBIN L. HERMANN was born in Ames, Iowa on May 23, 1943. He attended the United States Military Academy and received an LL.B. from the University of Iowa Law School in 1968. He is a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Robin served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Edwin Moore of the Iowa Supreme Court and as an Assistant Polk County Attorney before joining the Patterson Law Firm in 1970. He served a term as president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Polk County Bar Association, and as a member of the Polk County Bar Grievance Committee. Robin is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations. He has a general practice including but not limited to litigation in the area of medical malpractice representing doctors, nurses, hospitals and affiliated health care providers. He has prepared and argued numerous cases before the Iowa Supreme Court. Robin has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
