FREDERICK M. HASKINS was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on October 18, 1947. Fred attended the University of Iowa, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate in 1972. Fred was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Iowa from 1972 through 1991. He was the Chief Counsel for the Iowa Insurance Division from 1980 through 1991 and the Acting Insurance Commissioner of Iowa during 1986. He joined the Patterson Firm in 1991. Fred is a member of the Polk County and Iowa State Bar Association, as well as the Federation of Regulatory Counsel. He has served as Treasurer and Board Member for the Salisbury House Foundation. He has a general practice including but not limited to government and insurance law. Fred has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
