JEFFREY A. BOEHLERT was born in Clinton, New York, on November 16, 1953. He received his Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude from Syracuse University in 1975, and his Juris Doctorate in 1978 from Drake University Law School. He later attended Conception Seminary (from 1989 to 1993) to complete requirements for ordination as a Permanent Deacon in the Catholic Church, Des Moines Diocese. Jeff was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1978 and the Nebraska Bar in 1987. He joined the Patterson Firm as a law clerk in 1975, and as a lawyer in 1978. Jeff is a member of the Polk County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations, as well as the Iowa Defense Counsel Association. Jeff is a Master in the C. Edwin Moore Inns of Court. Jeff has a general practice including but not limited to trial law defending licensed professionals, dram shop and personal injury litigation. He also devotes part of his practice to mediation and arbitration as a neutral. Jeff has received the highest possible rating from Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
