The majority of Jeff's time outside his law office is devoted to various areas of community service as a Permanent Deacon in the Des Moines Diocese. He and his wife coordinate a pre-marriage FOCCUS program with couples prior to marriage; he makes hospital and nursing home visits to the sick; presides at baptisms, weddings and funerals and frequently provides pro bono legal assistance to the elderly, deployed military families and those who can least afford a lawyer.
