Following graduation in May of 2002, Jason clerked for the Fifth Judicial District of Iowa for two years and for the Iowa Court of Appeals for one year.  Following these clerkships, Jason began practice at the Patterson Law Firm as a litigation associate.  During his time at Patterson, he has tried several jury trials and bench trials.  These trials have involved property damage, personal injury, mechanic’s liens and professional liability.  He continues to practice as a civil defense attorney primarily in the areas of personal injury, property damage, professional negligence, construction law, and municipality law.
